From the moment I found out I was pregnant with my second baby, I knew I wanted a home birth. I began searching for the perfect midwife and came across Full Circle Family Services. After my free consultation with Frances, I instantly felt she was the one I wanted to trust with my care. She is incredibly knowledgeable, straightforward, kind, and so easy to connect with. At 37.5 weeks, my water unexpectedly broke. My birth team rallied around me immediately, coming to my home to support me as we worked hard—nearly 24 hours—to get my labor progressing. I reached about 8 cm when concerns about bleeding and infection arose. Together, my husband, my birth team, and I made the difficult decision to transfer to the hospital.

I was heartbroken. I had dreamed of having my baby at home, and it was so hard to let that go. But Frances, Melina (my doula), and Stacy (the student midwife) never left my side. They reassured me that I had done everything I could and reminded me that some things are beyond my control. Their kindness and encouragement were exactly what I needed in that moment.

On May 31, 2024, I delivered my second baby girl in the hospital. The delivery was smooth and complication-free, and I couldn’t have been more grateful. Even though my birth didn’t go as planned, it was still beautiful. What meant the most to me was that Frances continued to care for my baby and me during the postpartum period, ensuring we were supported and thriving.

Frances is everything you could ask for in a Midwife!! Physical support, knowledge, emotional support. I’m not sure how my home birth experience would have been if she had not been our Midwife! She loves what she does and she cares about the birthing families. This was my 3rd child but my first home birth and Frances made sure to reassure us that we were not alone. It was very personal, I wasn’t treated like a number but instead she went out of her way to make sure I had what I needed along the birthing journey and postpartum. Which made it really hard to say see you later at our last appointment! If you want a loving, caring midwife that will give you everything you need to make the best decisions along your journey, then I would 100% recommend Frances. I e learned so much!
